ok so i deleted but then i remember i have a bunch of old stuff here from different times of my life that really meant a lot to me. so im gonna keep the account up, but i wont be active anymore.

i did it once a while ago, and feeling that same way now. honestly insta is way better for artists, and i'm way more active there. I upload way more art there too, and its easier to upload from my phone then go through the whole annoying process of uploading here. i made this forum post an hour ago or something and i had to close it cause i forgot how dumb random people are on this site. its better than saying something back. people were just saying some really dumb shit. this site has become more of like just a forum site, and the same shit always gets promoted in the D.D. page, i guess what i mean by that is nothing new happens. its also easier to encounter really ignorant people here, cause this site's so old and out of touch a lot of people who are the same way come here. but yeah i might do it like right after i make this journal or tomorrow. and you guys who stuck with me since the beginning and the people who talk to me, are the only reason i stayed so long. 

im really active on insta on tumblr, i use the same name there. except on tumblr its just chantalim, no dash. 

the first day was yesterday. i dont have classes tuesdays, thursdays, and saturdays, but i have class every other day. im really excited for my life drawing class on sunday cause it's with a professor whose really really good at figure drawing. and honeslty its better that its a weekend class, even better a sunday, cause everyone hates weekend classes so no one enrolls in them. last semester i had a class on saturday that only had 6 students including me. i got close with the professor and if i wanted her to write me a recommendation letter she'll have no problem writing it. 


unrelated, but when i was in the D.R. there was this roller rink close to my grandmas house so my mom took me there a few times. when we got back home she bought some roller skates and so that's what i've been doing this summer. ive gone atleast once a week this month. i cant wait for it to get colder so there'll be less people in the park, whenever i go to my roller skating spot there's so many people playing tennis. 

ok so for like some reason all the photos in my gallery are really fucking saturated and dark at the same time??? were they always like that or is there something wrong with my screen???

honestly my trip was ok if not really boring for the most part. but i gotta remind myself to never go back.
